Stacker/order picker
Some experience is required to work safely with a stacker. These are heavy machines that can cause serious injuries. Total control over the stacker is important for safety, so a lot of attention is paid to practice in this training! Objective of the course 'Working safely with a stacker': Being able to work safely and responsibly Being able to implement safety and operating instructions in practice Being able to carry out daily maintenance correctly Contents of theory: Type of stacker Safety on the work floor: before, during and after working with the stacker Checking and maintenance Safety & ergonomicsLaw & regulationsGuidelines Practical content: Technical inspection of the stackerIntroduction to the stackerSafetyLoad handlingTruck handling (turning circle, turning moment, etc.)Working efficientlyVarious exercises - practical test after passing the theoretical test Target group number of people: Experienced and less experienced drivers allowed! Min. 5 to max. 10 people on 1 day for practice. Didactic material: Theory: classroom or theoretical test of ready knowledge (experienced participants only) Practice: stacker(s) indoor or outdoor space with materials (preferably own working environment) Location: Company internal Timetable: Theory: classroom (3 hours) or theoretical test 15 minutes Practice: 45 minutes per person
