Working safely with PPE
Many accidents in the workplace can be avoided by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Unfortunately, there are still uncertainties surrounding personal protective equipment, which results in accidents. Not wearing it, or not wearing it correctly, can have many consequences that extend beyond physical injuries. Awareness raising remains important. The purpose of this refresher is, on the one hand, to provide information so that students know and apply the importance of personal protection. Awareness is raised to adopt a positive basic attitude towards one's own safety and that of colleagues. This course is very practical and takes the needs of the company into account. Theory content: The classes of PPE Legal obligations regarding PPE Consequences of not (correctly) wearing PPE in the company PPE maintenance Practical content: Practical exercises Tips & tricks Target group number of people: All operational employees and managers! Up to 15 people. Didactic material: Theory: classroom Practice: various (own) PPE for checking space for the exercises Location: Company internal or on Medoh location Timetable: Theory: classroom (1.5 hours) Practice: classroom (2.5 hours)
